Commissions

Arranging a Commission or Exhibition

Do you have a vision for a work of art that you want for a private collection or public viewing? Do you feel that you have now found an artist that fits perfectly with your style?

Commissioning a piece or arranging an exhibition for the first time may seem a little daunting, but I can assure you that it is also a stimulating and collaborative experience!

I am more than happy to consider taking commissions as long as the timing is right and the timeline for completing your project is achievable.

Artists are not ogres and I will endeavour to make our initial contact as pleasant as possible. However, I may ask one or two questions before I agree to accept your project!

Lost Horizons

Exhibition AT VOLCANO THEATRE, 27-29 HIGH STREET, SWANSEA, SA1 1LG.

PREVIEW: FRIDAY 10 APRIL 6PM

Exhibition continues to Friday 8 May 2026. (See poster for Gallery opening hours).

LOST HORIZONS is a show of three genres of work and is my first exhibition in Swansea for many years.

My intention is to show three distinctly different styles I have worked on since the 1990s, respectively titled Made in Wales: Light-scapes and Dreamscapes, Made in France : Unnatural Nature and most recently, We Cannot See the Wood For the Trees. Each style is constructivist in approach employing photography and a digital palette. All of them have been defined by the very different environments in which the three styles were developed.

Having recently written and published an autobiography of my life’s work, (Line Red to Space, The Magnitude is Green) it seems clear to me that my art has constantly been about exploring new sources of aesthetic imagery….1970s immersive colour environments, 1990s light spillage in our domestic and urban environments and most recently, 2018 onward growth patterns and form in wood.

I would love you to come to the opening on Friday 10th April and say what you feel about Making Art Matter.
